Not as good as Kitchen Confidential. Some items referred back to Kitchen Confidential. I think they may have rearranged the order of some of the chapters after he wrote the book. Heroes and Villains needed to be later in the book since he mentioned some people without explaining who they were and then told the stories in later chapters. I had already looked up Grant Achatz to find out what he was talking about before I got to his chapter.
